Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Joel is a highly sought after saxophonist, having played with such
greats as: Natalie Cole; Albert Collins; Ella Fitzgerald; Dizzy Gillespie; The Temptations; Wayne Newton; The Coasters; The
TK Band; The Drifters; and comedy acts like Danny Marona and Pete Barbutti. His recording credits include three solo releases:
"Nefron," "Just For You," and "Hot Sax."
Joel Edwards, according to Danny Marona, boasts a Master's degree in Saxophone Performance and unbridled
talent. His Sax literally speaks to an audience wheather he's playing a ballad or a screaming gospel solo. He's known as the
"Sax Symbol of the group." Joel plays tenor, alto, and soprano sax as well as flute and keyboard.
Joel now performs with his own group HOT SAX. HOT SAX is also the title of his latest CD.
